"Laurie Ann Walker passed away February 11, 2011 after a lengthy illness.[...] She was a brilliant artist, a talented painter and prominent member of the Quebec contemporary art community. Her works and installations were shown, and remain, in museums and galleries across Canada and overseas. Some rest in private collections. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Mount Allison University, and a Masters in Sculpture from the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design.[...]"
